Sutter Pacific Medical Foundation Expands Physician Network in Marin
Addition of primary and specialty care doctors broadens choices for Marin residents

San Francisco, CA, January 27, 2010--Sutter Pacific Medical Foundation announced today the addition of four primary and specialty care physicians in Marin County. Natalie Karishev, M.D. and Rebecca Li, M.D. joined the Foundation to provide primary care. Kara Reinke, M.D. and Max Duncan, D.O. offer specialty care in dermatology and neurology, respectively. Sutter Pacific now has 26 doctors providing primary and specialty care in Marin County.
Natalie Karishev, M.D. is a board-certified family medicine physician located at 101 Rowland Way in Novato, adjacent to Novato Community Hospital. Dr. Karishev received her M.D. from Northern State Medical University in Russia. She completed her internship at City Emergency Hospital in Arkhangelsk, Russia, where she then served as a district physician for more than 12 years. Dr. Karishev completed her residency at Maine-Dartmouth Family Medicine. Her interests include women’s health, diabetes, cardiology, pulmonology and gastrointestinal disease. She is fluent in Russian.
Rebecca Li, M.D., a board-certified internist, is located at 1350 South Eliseo Drive in Greenbrae. Dr. Li received her M.D. from Tianjin Medical University in China and completed her internship and residency at Maricopa Integrated Health System in Phoenix, Arizona (affiliated with Mayo Clinic Arizona). Her interests include geriatrics, cardiology, rheumatology and critical care.
Dr. Li is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
Kara Reinke, M.D. is a board-certified dermatologist and takes care of both adults and children in her dermatology practice. She received her M.D. from University of California San Francisco (UCSF) School of Medicine, completed her preliminary internal medicine internship at California Pacific Medical Center and her dermatology residency at UCSF Medical Center. Dr. Reinke completed additional training through UCSF’s Cutaneous Oncology Program. She speaks French, Spanish and German. Her practice is located at 1350 South Eliseo Drive in Greenbrae.
Max Duncan, D.O., a board-certified neurologist, joined the Marin/Sonoma neurology team based at 1350 South Eliseo Drive in Greenbrae. Dr. Duncan received his D.O. from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University and completed his internship and residency at Letterman Army Medical Center in San Francisco. His qualifications also include a fellowship in clinical neurophysiology at Walter Reed Medical Center in Washington D.C and subspecialty training in electroencephalography, electromyography and nerve conduction studies. Dr. Duncan specializes in Botox treatments for specific neurological-related conditions. Dr. Duncan also practices at the neurology team’s Santa Rosa office, located at 3883 Airway Drive.
