    Sutter Pacific Medical Foundation Boosts Marin Network With Three New Physicians

    San Francisco, CA, July 20, 2010--Sutter Pacific Medical Foundation announced today the addition of three primary and specialty care physicians in Marin County. Gyorgy Pataki, M.D., joins the Foundation to provide primary care. Mary Burke, M.D., offers specialty care in psychiatry and Christine Jacobson, M.D., is a dermatologist. All three doctors join the Care Center located at 1350 South Eliseo Drive in Greenbrae. They can all be reached at (415) 464-0411. Sutter Pacific now has over 20 doctors providing primary and specialty care in Marin County.

    Gyorgy Pataki, M.D., a board-certified internist, is located at 1350 South Eliseo Drive in Greenbrae. Dr. Pataki received his M.D. at the University of Pécs Medical School in Hungary followed by a residency in internal medicine at Michael Reese Hospital and Medical Center at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He also completed a fellowship in anesthesiology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dr. Pataki’s professional interests include cardiology, sports medicine, and musculoskeletal disorders. He is fluent in Hungarian.

    Mary Burke, M.D., is board-certified in psychiatry and specializes in child/adolescent psychiatry. Her practice is located at 1350 South Eliseo Drive in Greenbrae. Dr. Burke received her M.D. at the University of California, San Francisco. She did an internship and residency at UCSF’s Langley Porter Psychiatric Institute, where she also completed a fellowship and received special training in the Infant Parent Program, Floor Time, and many approaches based on attachment theory. Dr. Burke is interested in family-based approaches to children’s psychiatric conditions and in collaborating with other disciplines when helping children with developmental needs. An Associate Clinical Professor in UCSF’s Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, she is also a part of San Francisco General Hospital's Pediatric Environmental Health Specialty Unit conducting research on the converging toxic mechanisms of psychosocial stress and common environmental toxins. Dr. Burke speaks Spanish (conversational).

    Christine Jacobson, M.D.
    , is board-certified in dermatology and joins the dermatology team based at 1350 South Eliseo Drive in Greenbrae. She received her M.D. from Stanford University Medical School followed by an internship in internal medicine at Kaiser Foundation Hospital in San Francisco and a residency in dermatology at Stanford University Medical Center. Dr. Jacobson completed a Fulbright Fellowship at the Research and Teaching in Education Program at Costa Rica’s Universidad Nacional. Her professional interests include general, surgical and pediatric dermatology. Dr. Jacobson is fluent in Spanish.
