    Sutter Pacific Medical Foundation Adds Two New Physician Specialists in San Francisco and Marin

    San Francisco, CA, October 24, 2011--Sutter Pacific Medical Foundation, part of the Sutter Health network, announced today the addition of two new specialty care physicians to its roster of physicians available in San Francisco and Marin. Robert Rho, M.D., joins the Foundation as a specialist in cardiovascular disease and electrophysiology. Jyoti Jain, M.D., is a psychiatrist.

    Robert Rho, M.D., is board-certified in cardiology and electrophysiology. He received his Medical Degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine. He completed an internship in internal medicine at Norwalk Hospital, affiliated with Yale University School of Medicine, and a residency in internal medicine at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center. He also completed fellowship training in cardiovascular medicine and cardiac electrophysiology at University of Pennsylvania. Most recently, Dr. Rho was director of the Cardiac Electrophysiology Catheter Ablation Program at the University of Washington Medical Center where he was an associate professor of medicine. His professional focus has been complex atrial and ventricular arrhythmias specializing in ventricular tachycardia and atrial fibrillation. He has been involved in a significant amount of clinical research and has lectured nationally and internationally on topics related to the treatment of complicated arrhythmias. Dr. Rho was recognized as a “Best Doctor” by Washington State magazine (2010) and by the national Best Doctors Inc. database since 2007.     Jyoti Jain, M.D., joins the Foundation as a psychiatrist working as an independent contractor. Dr. Jain received her Medical Degree from The Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University. She completed a psychiatry residency at California Pacific Medical Center. During the fourth year of her residency, she served as chief resident. In addition to her work for the Foundation, Dr. Jain is an attending physician for John George Psychiatric Emergency Services, part of the Alameda County Medical Center. Her professional interests include emergency psychiatry, psychotherapy, outpatient psychiatry and telepsychiatry.
