Santa Rosa, CA, November 18, 2010--Sutter Pacific Medical Foundation and Sutter Medical Group of the Redwoods announced today the addition of Vu Tran, M.D., to its roster of physicians.
Dr. Tran, a pulmonologist and sleep medicine specialist, is board-certified in pulmonary (lung disease) medicine, sleep medicine and critical care medicine. He conducts sleep studies and provides treatment for a range of sleep disorders, including sleep apnea and insomnia. He has worked in the area of pulmonary and sleep medicine since 2002.
Dr. Tran received his M.D. in internal medicine from the University of Vermont, College of Medicine (Burlington). He completed his internal medicine residency at St. Joseph’s Medical Center (Phoenix, Arizona), as well as a fellowship at the University of Nebraska (Omaha).
Prior to joining Sutter Pacific, Dr. Tran was a member of the Kaiser Permanente Medical Group in Santa Rosa. He is a member of the American College of Chest Physicians as well as the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.
A resident of Santa Rosa, Dr. Tran is fluent in Vietnamese.
