June 11th Seminar Offers Weight Loss Surgery Information and Peer Support
San Francisco, CA, June 8, 2011--Sutter Pacific Medical Foundation will host a weight loss surgery informational seminar and support group on June 11, 2011 at Novato Community Hospital. Held monthly in Marin County and San Francisco, seminars provide a supportive environment for individuals interested in learning about weight loss surgery and those seeking support following surgery. Led by Gregg Jossart, MD, director of Sutter Pacific’s laparoscopic gastrointestinal, bariatric and endocrine surgery program, the seminar provides an overview of the different types of surgical procedures available and what to expect with each. This venue provides a unique opportunity for individuals to have questions answered directly by a board-certified bariatric surgeon while finding support among others considering weight loss surgery and from those who've already undergone surgery.
