Philosophy of Care
I believe that my job is to help optimize the quality of one's health. Providing education is one way to execute this task; support and encouragement is another. I practice evidence-based general adult medicine. I believe that everybody should have equal rights and access to health care. I treat all my patients equally regardless of their race, age, level of education, or personal health status.
Quality is my first and foremost priority. Service is my other priority. When I am in the examining room with a patient, my mind is completely focused on my patient. After one's medical exam, I engage my patients in discussion about their care and provide an opportunity for them to share in the decision making. I consider the physician-patient relationship a partnership and I enjoy working with my patients, particularly to address preventive health care topics.
