As part of our medical training we learn about a multitude of diseases and conditions as well as the latest in medical technology that helps with their diagnosis and treatment. During my 10+ years of medical practice, I have strived to combine this medical knowledge and technical skill while giving equal priority to the relationship between doctor and patient. To me that includes communicating effectively, listening to my patients' concerns or fears, and working as a partner in their care. I feel privileged that as a physician I am able to help empower my patients. I consider the doctor-patient partnership an important component in restoring one's health and sense of well being.
