Hospital Medicine

Each hospitalist works in partnership with referring doctors during one's hospitalization. These physicians – who work in the inpatient units at California Pacific Medical Center and Sutter Medical Center of Santa Rosa - are available 24 hours a day. Hospitalists coordinate and oversee all inpatient care including subspecialty appointments, procedures, tests and transport. Families consider our hospitalists as their liaison to the Medical Center and an important resource regarding their loved one's health.

Hospital Medicine Services Offered:

• Board-certified physicians who coordinate all inpatient care and provide round-the-clock coverage, seven days a week
• Specialists in pediatrics, complex gastroenterology and hepatology, and intensive care
• Experienced, consistent health care team
• Ongoing communication with an organized discharge/follow-up plan for referring physician
