Maternal Fetal Medicine

Our maternal fetal medicine program consists of specialists in prenatal diagnosis and genetic screening, gestational diabetes, and high-risk pregnancy.

The Prenatal Diagnosis Center, based at California Pacific Medical Center, is a comprehensive program providing the most advanced technology and procedures available for identifying certain genetic disorders and birth defects in the developing fetus. Our program is fully accredited by the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine and the California Genetics Disease Branch.

For women with high-risk pregnancy and gestational diabetes, Sutter Pacific Medical Foundation, in conjunction with California Pacific Medical Center, provides state-of-the-art facilities and skilled professionals to provide comprehensive support. The State of California designated our Women & Infants Center as a Level III perinatal and neonatal center, ensuring patients the highest level of equipment and professionals on staff.

For obstetrical and neonatal patients in outlying areas, we offer round-the-clock transport services to our Women and Infants Center, and coordinate all transportation logistics.
