OB/GYN

Medical professionals at Sutter Pacific Medical Foundation's Obstetrics and Gynecology Care Centers are committed to optimizing the health of mother and child as well as women of all ages. Our OB GYN team specializes in the management of pregnancy and childbirth along with the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the female reproductive system throughout various life stages.
Our obstetrics and gynecology teams address family planning and fertility issues as well as carefully monitor mother and fetal health from awareness of conception through delivery and immediate postpartum period. If needed, our team of OB GYN specialists at the Prenatal Diagnosis Center offers a comprehensive program that provides the most advanced technology and procedures available for identifying certain genetic disorders and birth defects in the developing fetus. Our specialty doctors also oversee care for women with diabetes in pregnancy and those with high-risk pregnancies.
Our certified nurse midwives provide high-quality healthcare services to women. CNMs are experts in low-risk pregnancy and childbirth, and are advocates for natural, family-centered care. CNMs also offer gynecelogic care including annual exams, family planning, STI testing, and cancer screening. CNMs manage common health problems and prescribe medication as needed, with a strong focus on preventive, holistic care.
For women experiencing gynecologic conditions such as fibroids, excessive menstrual bleeding, cysts, and endometriosis that require medical attention, our team offers minimally invasive gynecologic surgery.
