Transplant Nephrology

Our kidney and pancreas transplant program has a long and successful history. California Pacific Medical Center performed its first kidney transplant in 1969 and has performed more than 4,000 kidney transplants since. Presently, nearly 200 patients annually receive kidney and/or pancreas transplants at California Pacific's Kidney & Pancreas Transplant Program.
Among the kidney and pancreas options available for individuals with end-stage renal disease include:
- Living Donor Kidney Transplant
- Kidney Paired Donation: Closed Loop, Living Donor Chain
- Deceased Donor Kidney Transplant
- Simultaneous Pancreas/Kidney Transplant
- Pancreas after Kidney Transplant (PAK)
Sutter Pacific's physicians offer kidney transplant evaluation and post-transplant follow-up care at care centers throughout Northern California and in Reno.
